The boss was a true champion  of the company. Many times he would scold sales reps because they put making money over the company’s vision/laurels. In order for the company to succeed, it truly had to treat the customer as family, less they feel they are being used.

Conclusion: you stay true to a company’s vision

Customer Skills:

When championing a certain sales item, it is important to not force the agenda upon a customer. If they ask about it then do your best to show how it could be a great purchase for them at a low cost. Always avoid being a desperate salesman.

Conclusion: You do sales with integrity.

Problem Solving Skills:

The concept championed most by the development team was to change the checkboxes to a drop-down-list style menu. This would shave at least 4-5 minutes off of the clients’ purchasing time.

Conclusion: You show initiative when it comes to streamlining a company website.
