Assigned shows the candidate’s ability to:
- take control of a situation
- have a specific task or duty
- signify one’s position
Clerical Skills:
There is an assigned duty for each worker in our medical office. While one person is in charge of dealing with patients and scheduling. Another worker is in charge of sorting through files that were used during the day. While this is going on, someone else is preparing faxes and mailing documents to their respective recipients.

Certain tools are assigned to accomplish certain tasks. Even though it is possible to fasten a phillips head screw with a regular screwdriver, it risks the possibility of damaging the screw. In mechanical work, it is imperative that you use the proper tool when it is required.

Selling Skills:
In the work place, we are expected to help out customers regardless of what department we have been assigned to. For example, when a customer came in asking about televisions, instead of telling him “This is the wrong department”, I told him I could find him a representative that would take care of him and personally walked him over to a koisk where he could receive the proper help.
