Whenever one of my co-workers requires aid in one of their projects, I am always the first to help. This is because I want to get as much work done as possible, and, if I help them now, they may be inclined to help me out in the future.
Conclusion: you are a team player
Customer Skills:
Many times when someone walks in our framing store, they need aid in deciding how to frame a painting or poster. The first thing we do is let them know how much they will be spending if they wish to have their item framed at the minimum cost. We then walk them through the different purchasing services available. We do this because it would be wasting their time if they could not afford the cheapest option in the first place.
Conclusion: You are respectful of customers
Problem Solving Skills:
Many times, the only thing you really need in mathematics is a calculator. There is nothing that can aid you in memorizing what type of formula needs to be used.
